D&L Project56 provides travel planning, coordination, and booking assistance services. Refunds and cancellations depend on the type of service, the stage of the booking process, and the cancellation terms of any third-party providers involved.
By confirming a booking or paying a deposit, you agree that D&L Project56 may begin coordinating, reserving, and securing services on your behalf.
Most travel packages and coordinated bookings require a deposit to secure availability. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits are non-refundable once booking work has started or once third-party services have been reserved.
Deposits may be used to secure accommodation, transport, ferries, local services, planning work, coordination time, and other supplier-related arrangements.
Important: Prices and availability are not guaranteed until the required deposit has been received and the relevant services have been confirmed.
If a client delays confirmation or payment, prices may change and selected accommodation or services may become unavailable.
The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline agreed during the booking process. If the balance is not paid on time, D&L Project56 may cancel or release parts of the booking, and the deposit may not be refundable.
Payment deadlines may vary depending on the package, travel dates, and supplier requirements.
D&L Project56 acts as a travel planning and coordination intermediary between clients and third-party service providers, including but not limited to hotels, apartments, transfer companies, ferry operators, restaurants, venues, and local service providers.
We coordinate and manage arrangements on your behalf, but we do not directly operate hotels, ferries, transport companies, restaurants, venues, or accommodation properties unless clearly stated otherwise.
For accommodations, transfers, ferries, venues, and other services booked through third-party providers:
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Accommodation, transport, ferries, and other travel services can change price or become unavailable before payment is received and the booking is secured.
If a selected accommodation or service becomes unavailable before confirmation, D&L Project56 may offer an alternative of similar standard, location, or practical suitability where possible.
If a confirmed provider later cancels, changes, or becomes unable to deliver a service, we will work to find a reasonable alternative within the limits of availability and supplier terms.
Cancellation by the client: If you cancel our travel planning service before work begins, a full or partial refund may be available. Once we have started planning your trip, communicating with providers, preparing proposals, or arranging bookings, refunds depend on work completed, time spent, provider terms, and any costs already incurred.
Cancellation by D&L Project56: We reserve the right to cancel a service if you do not respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe, do not provide required information, do not make payments by agreed deadlines, or if the service cannot be properly delivered due to circumstances outside our control.
If you request changes to bookings, including different dates, different accommodation, room changes, guest changes, transport changes, itinerary changes, or upgrades:
Clients and guests are fully responsible for their own behaviour during travel, including conduct at accommodation properties, restaurants, venues, transport services, and public areas.
D&L Project56 is not responsible for damage, fines, penalties, cleaning fees, security deposits, removal from accommodation, denied entry, denied boarding, legal issues, or additional costs caused by guest behaviour, intoxication, drug use, illegal activity, disturbance, negligence, or failure to follow provider rules.
Any damage, penalties, deposits, fines, or extra charges imposed by hotels, accommodation providers, transport operators, venues, authorities, or other third parties are the responsibility of the client and/or guests involved.
Guests may be required to provide identification, credit card details, security deposits, or other guarantees directly to accommodation providers or service providers at check-in or before using services.
No refund is available for:
D&L Project56 is not responsible for cancellations, delays, schedule changes, missed connections, or service disruptions caused by events outside our control.
This includes, but is not limited to, storms, severe weather, ferry cancellations, ferry delays, flight delays, airport disruption, port closures, strikes, traffic disruption, road closures, government decisions, safety restrictions, illness, war, civil unrest, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
Where possible, we will assist with alternative arrangements, but any additional costs, rebooking fees, accommodation extensions, transport changes, unused services, missed connections, or losses caused by such events are the client's responsibility unless covered by the relevant provider or travel insurance.
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase appropriate travel insurance before travel.
In case of delays, schedule changes, or disruptions, including late flights, ferry changes, ferry cancellations, airport delays, port delays, or arrival delays, D&L Project56 will make reasonable efforts to assist in finding suitable alternatives where possible.
This may include coordinating with accommodation providers to arrange late check-in, rescheduling, extending a stay, adjusting transport, or securing alternative accommodation of similar standard, subject to availability.
However, such arrangements are not guaranteed and may involve additional costs depending on provider policies, current rates, and availability at the time.
If a refund is approved by a third-party provider, D&L Project56 will assist with the refund process where possible. Refund timing depends on the provider, payment method, bank processing time, card provider, and payment platform.
Any payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees, card fees, platform fees, or sender-side charges may be deducted from the final refunded amount where applicable.
Unusual situations, including provider bankruptcy, serious service failure, extraordinary disruption, or major operational problems, are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us immediately if something unexpected occurs before or during your planned trip.
We will work with you to find reasonable solutions within the limits of availability, supplier policies, and practical circumstances.
